Pluto
UI / UX Design
Pluto is a combat/simulation game. Unfortunately, due to an NDA, I am unable to show more finalized images of this project. However, without getting into too much detail, I can share some of the earlier wireframes and images showing process.
Communication:
Working on large teams comes with many challenges. Perhaps the biggest challenge is communication between disciplines. Working as a UI/UX designer, I often find myself as a liaison between engineering, design & art. Keeping everyone on the same page is key to a successful project.
One way to do so is through the one page design. To best describe a feature concept, the idea is boiled down to fit on a single sheet of paper. This design is then printed and put up around the office to promote visibility on the feature. All participants in a meeting regarding the feature should have a copy of the sheet to reference in communication as well as to jot down notes. They are then collected and used to update the one page design.
Below is an example of a one page design used to describe a proposed feature.
